Contra Costa Bargaining Commences, Chapter Releases First Video

Local 21’s Contra Costa County chapter rolled out its first chapter video “I support MY Union!” The short three-minute video features four members who have experienced and benefitted first hand from Local 21’s presence in Contra Costa County. The video is the first in a series that will highlight the Union’s progress in the greater East Bay Area over the past three years.

Local 21 staff and chapter leaders are excited to take the first steps towards utilizing social media to move the Union ahead; As we jump into full scale negotiations, Local 21’s bargaining team will provide live updates via Twitter, while videos will call members to action at critical points during negotiations. In addition to redesigned bargaining updates and chapter newsletters, close to a dozen Contra Costa employees will also be featured through Local 21’s branding campaign.
