San Jose Members Fight for a Voice in the June Election

Over the past year, San Jose members have been inundated with attacks from Mayor Chuck Reed and the City Council. It’s our time to fight back! Local 21 members are working hard to defeat Measure B, an initiative designed to dramatically reduce retirement benefits, and campaigning for a solid majority on the City Council so that attacks on city employees will stop.

Since March, many members have used their free time to make phone calls and distribute campaign information to voters. Volunteers include: Angel Alvarez, Hossein Ashktorab, Jim Baker, Paul Blach, Mark Brogan, Bruce Cabral, Ben Chen, Angela Cheung, John Chien, George Cook, Jim Crowley, Jagdish Dadhamia, Dale Dapp, Chris Dayley, Mario DeLeon, Marc DeLong, Matt Farrell, Deanna Forsythe, Heidi Gieger, David Grad, Tracy Hemmeter, Cathy Hoang-Mendoza, Greg Jobe, Dan Keller, Theresa Lannigan, Sal Lanzo, Cay Denise MacKenzie, Kevin Maung, John McHugh, Mike Munson, Thuy Nguyen, Sim Ong, Luis Ortiz, David Printy, Steve Pagan, Stacey Palomer, Paul Pascoal, Joe Pomeroy, Dan Pornel, Titus Raceles, Phyllis Schulz, Raj Sehdev, Henry Servin, Raj Singh, Linden Skjeie, Ed Sugay, Lisa Tulee, Metra Valle, Alan Wiley, Harry Yip, Sarah Young, Ellen Yuen, and Mike Zapien.
