Union Officer Election - Fall 2008
Local Union Officer Election Results
Ballots for the 11 local union officer positions (aka ExeuctiveCommittee) were counted in the Local 21 office on Friday, December 5. Election Committee members Sharon Snelling, Mikhael Hart, and David Lynch, with assistance from Local 21 clerical staff, prepared the ballots for automated tabulation by staff from the California Elections Company. Several candidates (or their designees) served as observers from the time the ballots were picked up from the post office on the morning of December 5, to the determination of election results in mid-afternoon.
A total of 1,585 ballots were counted. To win, a candidate needed to receive a majority of the votes cast in the race.
