Kids or Grandkids Pursuing Higher Ed? Have Them Apply for an IFPTE Scholarship!

IFPTE established the Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. scholarship program for students who have demonstrated skills through academic achievement and service to their school and community. IFPTE will be awarding four college scholarships of $2,500 each to children or grandchildren of IFPTE members.


Local 21 members’ children have been granted this scholarship in the past, students whose parents are Local 21 members were winners of Dominick D. Critelli, Jr. scholarships in 2016, 2015, 2013, and 2012.


Jasmine Gregory, daughter of Local 21 member John Gregory, was a recipient of the scholarship in 2016.


Winston Ji, son of Local 21 Hayward member Flora Chen, was a past recipient of the Dominick D. Critelli scholarship in 2015.


Tiffany Mao, daughter of Local 21 member Robert Mao, was a recipient of the scholarship in 2013.


Carielle U. Spangenberg, the daughter of Local 21 member Jon G. Spangenberg, was a recipient of the scholarship in 2012.


The applications for the scholarship must be postmarked on or before March 15th. Winners will be selected on or about May 1st.
