San Francisco Members Graduate from Leadership Institute

San Francisco leaders Mary Marzotto (Vice President for San Francisco), Larry Griffin (SF Political Action Committee Co-Chair), and Jo Elias-Jackson (IT chapter and SF PAC member) recently participated in a Leadership Institute organized by the San Francisco Labor Council.

The Institute was designed to provide in-depth practical training to effectively organize and mobilize to fight back against political attacks on workers. The training included workshops on contemporary issues in the labor movement, developing messaging strategies, increasing volunteer participation, and building internal and external power in our community. Rachel Richman, Local 21 Political and Policy Director, was part of a panel discussion on mobilizing members to get involved in union campaign work.
