As City of Oakland workers, we love Oakland. But we can’t provide vital services to residents when we’re experiencing severe staffing and vacancy shortages. Colleagues are leaving because Oakland is not a competitive employer. You can’t put city services first if you put city workers last. Come rally City Council members on Tuesday, March 12th on the steps of City Hall at 5pm! City Council members officially submit their budget priorities on March 15, and this is our chance to make sure we’re on that list.
