Our CCSF Tentative Agreement Is Ratified

The results are in and a majority of our San Francisco membership voted ‘Yes’ to ratify the Tentative Agreement (TA) that we reached with the City Administration earlier this month.

Now that a majority has voted yes to ratify the TA, it will become our official contract/MOU with the City and County of San Francisco following approval from the Board of Supervisors.

In the midst of generational funding cuts for county services due to H.R. 1 (Trump’s Big Ugly Bill), this contract provides stability for our members. Important highlights include:

  • Extend our existing contract from 2027 until 2031.
  • Provide a 12% wage increase spread over those 4 years.
  • Guarantee no Permanent Civil Service (PCS) layoffs through June 30, 2029.
  • Protect our MOU from takeaways: everything in our MOU remains protected, including our healthcare contribution rates.

“A majority of our membership supported this agreement because it provides stability not just for our members but for the services this city relies on,” said Sarah Perez, IFPTE Local 21 San Francisco Vice President.

This agreement explicitly excludes any wage delays, deferrals or off-ramps. Our power as a union comes from standing together as members and we’ve heard ideas from many of you through this ratification vote process. Collectively we will continue to advocate and organize for the most pressing needs we have for San Francisco.
