Bay Area Celebrations Scheduled for May Day, Workers’ Rights Day

In San Jose, join us on May 1 for a 3pm “March for Immigration Reform” at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 2020 E. San Antonio St.


Downtown Oakland: An Interfaith Immigration Prayer Vigil for Family Unity, Worker Justice, and Citizenship will be held at Frank Ogawa Plaza, April 30, 6:30-8:30 pm.


The San Francisco Labor Council is co-organizing marches for May Day. Workers, youth, families and communities for equal rights and justice will rise! This march commences at 3pm at 24th & Mission Streets and continues to City Hall at 5pm.


Earlier that day, join the Laborers, men and women from the San Francisco Labor Council, men and women from the San Francisco Building Trades Council, our community workforce, environmentalists, and advocates as we rally in support of workers on International Workers’ Day, May 1, at Noon on the steps of City Hall.
