We’re pleased to announce that our FY2018-2019 base wage increase of 3% will be effective on July 1, 2018!
The deal for 6% in wage increases over 2 years was secured by Local 21 San Francisco members last year. Click here for a refresher on the CCSF (City and County of San Francisco) Contract Extension Agreement.
The new pay rate will be reflected in the pay period ending July 13, 2018, and in your checks on July 24, 2018. This is the last scheduled wage increase under our current contract, as the contract extension expires in June of 2019.
It is more important than ever for all of us to recommit to membership in Local 21 so that we have the strength to fight for the services we provide remaining in public, raises and protect our benefits during the next contract campaign. Bargaining begins in 2019!
With the upcoming attacks against employees coming from both outside and within the Bay Area, we need to show our strength in numbers, maintain strong union membership, and stand together in solidarity.
