In March and April 2025, we joined a big rally outside Airbnb headquarters, standing united with a broad coalition of community and labor organizations to protect public services, and rallied outside Airbnb’s hearing at San Francisco Superior Court. We called out Airbnb’s ongoing efforts to drain over $120 million from San Francisco’s budget. Since 2019, Airbnb has repeatedly sued the City of San Francisco, trying to avoid paying their fair share in taxes. Meanwhile, their co-founder and current board member, billionaire Joe Gebbia, joined Elon Musk’s DOGE and is dismantling federal public services in order to pay for tax cuts for the richest Americans.
Airbnb is fleecing the public. Enough is enough: stop the greed, drop the lawsuit!
