Local 21 Members Say: Hands Off the Bay!

On Thursday, October 23, IFPTE Local 21 members took part in various actions responding to reports that President Trump was about to deploy a surge of federal forces in San Francisco and across the Bay Area.

IFPTE Local 21 President Bianca Polovina told 48hills, if the federal government wants to help San Francisco, “Stop cutting public services. It’s to feed us. It’s to fund health care. It’s to invest in public services, not give away tax breaks to billionaires. That’s the way the federal government can help us, not send an invasion into the San Francisco Bay Area.”
